An attempt of the Winnipeg unemployed to take advantage of the invasion of the Manitoba farmers to stage a demonstration r failed, when a crowd of two thousand was dispersed by massed motor cycle police. The crowd re-assembled outside the Legislative buildings, where the Premier met the farmers’ delegation, behind locked doors.
