TO-MORROW’S PROGRAMME

THE official opening ceremony will take place at the Arnold hydro, station, to-morrow afternoon, and the public is invited to attend. A special train will leave Greymouth for Kaimata at 1 p.m., proceeding to the dam, and returning to the power-house half an hour later, where the ceremony will be performed by the Chairman of the Board (Mr. J. B. Kent). Other speakers will be the Mayor of Greymouth (Mr. J. W. Greenslade), and the Chief Electrical Engineer, Public Works Department (Mr. F. M. Kissel). The train is due to leave Kaimata shortly after 4 p.m., and to reach Greymouth at 4.51 p.m. Owing to the lack of parking space at Kaimata, the public are advised to make use of the train. A Hydro. Ball will be held in the Town Hall, Greymouth, to-morrow evening.
