AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIPS [pee pkess association.] WELLINGTON, Sept. 20. The New Zealand Boxing, Council has appointed the following officials for the New Zealand Amateur Championships at New Plymouth on September 27, 28, and 29. Referees: N. McLean (Auckland), E. Perry (Wellington), L. C. Cotter (Blenheim). Judges: North Island, J. Bush (Auckland), D. H. Newbigin (Hastings). South Island: S. Lindsay (Invercargill) J. Kilmartin (Dunedin). The Council has reserved the right to appoint further fudges. A SYDNEY BOUT SYDNEY, September 19. At Sydney Stadium, to-night, Clyde Chastian gained another victory, obtaining a points decision over Tiger Payne, in a twelve-round bout, which was splendidly contested.
