WALKER v. PAYNE

SYDNEY, August 14.

At the Stadium, the negro boxer, Walker, 13.11, defeated the ■ negro, Tiger Payne, on points. It was not an interesting bout, and the decision was unpopular. Payne was more aggressive at the start. Walker was repeatedly told by the referee to fight, and was cautioned for holding the ropes.
