Bast evening at the residence of Mrs Collins, the members of. -we Waiuta Ladies’ Hockey D. Woolhouse who is leaving waiuta and presented her with a wajlet filled with notes as a token of the esteem in which she was held by ei \ club members. Mi’ J. Bartlett, Pi - sident of the Club, in making the piesentation said Miss Woolhouse had been a valuable member and mentioned her good sportsmanship m walking 12 miles to assist , the club m its matches. Baines suitably I<--spondedon behalf of Miss Woolhouse The Waiuta- League juniors played Pirates at Wingham Park on Supday, when they were beaten by 28 points to 13. No other team played, each having a bye for the Sunday.
