COBDEN NOTES
[OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT.]
There is a considerable amount of sickness in the district and the doctors are busy attending to their various patients. Both old and young are affected and the majority are confined to their beds. Several parties are reported to have washed up well, and even some enthusiastic schoolboys had a try and succeeded in earning more than pocket money. Given more nor-westerly weather the beach should remain in good ‘‘washing condition.
