SUICIDE STORY EXPOSED. BERLIN, May 13. A murder for which it would bo difficult to find a precedent was committed by a young peasant woman at a lonely farm in Odenwald. After a. quarrel with her husband, the woman lured him into a barn and slipped over his neck the noose of a 1 rope which she had already. thrown over a beam. Applying all her strength to the other end of the rope, she pulled him off the ground ■and held him suspended. 1 The woman told neighbours that her husband had committed suicide, , but they had suspicions, which they li communicated to the police. She was [ arrested and under- examination made a full confession.
