HOKITIKA NOTES

[OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HOKITIKA, June 25. Dr Hart, Superintendent of Seaview Mental Hospital, Hokitika, has received notice of transfer to Nelson. He leaves to take up his new appointment about July 12. At the meeting of the Westland Hospital Board on Wednesday evening a recommendation was received from the Health Department to increase the fee for adult patients from 10/- to 12/- per day and children to 6/- per day. The Board deemed it inadvisable to increase the fees, as it would mean adding to the burdens of the people.
