JAP. SHIP WRECKED
NEARLY 1000 LIVES ENDANGERED [by CABLE—PBESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] TOKIO, April 13. The steamer “Tdisei Maru” from Hakodate, proceeding to the northern fisheries is reported to have been totally wrecked near Okihaya. , Steamers are hurrying to the scene. There are nine hundred and fifty fishermen and passengers on th® ship. It is feared that the rough weather prevailing, the rescue of those on board the vessfel is doubtful. FRENCH SCHOONER’S CREW. OTTAWA, April 13. Eleven additional survivors of the Ronzic (wrecked in the Bay of Biscay) including the captain, were landed by the Danish steamer Viking. Seven men are still missing.
