ENGLISH TEAM’S TOUR. A tentative itinerary of the English Rugby League team to tour .New Zealand this year, has been drawn up. It is expected that the team will arrive at Auckland by the Niagara, on July 25- After playing North -Auckland, at Whangarei, they meet New Zealand in the first test on July 30 at Auckland. South Auckland will then be played, after which the tourists play at Dunedin and' then visit the West Coast, arriving in Greymouth on August 9, and playing the West Coast, team here on Wednesday, August 10. The second test is set down to be decided at Christchurch on August 13. A North Island team will be met at Wellington, and the third test has been arranged to take place at Auckland, on the following Saturday. The programme, as arranged, affords the visitors a splendid opportunity of seeing New Zealand, for their matches to be played, number only eight, so that the tour will not be strenuous, during their thirty days’ visit.
