PREMIERS TO CONFER. [by CABLE —PEESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] CANBERRA, March 11. The Prime Minister, Mr J. A. Lyons, announced in the House of Representatives, to-day, that the Government was submitting its proposed measures for the relief of unemployment to a special conference of the Premiers, immediately after Easter. He added that Cabinet was fully seized of the need for doing something before the winter, as Parliamentary action was incapable of solv. ing the problem. It was quite impossible to borrow money, but he was hopeful that tan gible results would flow from the Premiers’ Conference.
