PLANES COLLIDE
TRAGEDY IN SCOTLAND.

LONDON, February 15.
The first Royal Air Force crash for 1932 occurred at Leuchars, in Fifeshire, when two machines collided at a height of one thousand feet. Flying Officer H. Hicks and Aircraftsman R. Beattie were killed. SubLieut. A. Talbot who was flying solo, was seriously injured.
ICELAND STATION.
LONDON, February 16.
Reykjavik messages state that the Trans-American Air-lines Corporation has applied to the Government for permission to establish a modern air-port and radio station in Iceland, in connection with the project to establish a daily mail service between London and Detroit, covering the distance in 48 hours, or 72 hours, if limited to daytime flying.
