Herriott making a protest against the Bill for electoral reform, the Chamber of Deputies ended an all night sitting passing by 319 votes to one, the Electoral Bill enfranchasing women. The Chamber unanimously voted for the restoring of the majority verdict at. elections, and the abolishing of preferential voting. The Senate, however, is expected to reject women suffrage.
