STILLWATER CLUB WOUND UP The general meeting of the water Tennis Club was held in Stillwater this week, to receive the annual report of the committee and the balance sheet, which was adopted.. T.he club showed a credit balance of £3O 13/9. On the motion of Mr Walsh secondby Mr W. Buchanan, it was decided that owing to the general depression and the hard job in raising funds, that the club be wound upAfter considerable discussion as to the distributing of the credit balance it was decided as follows: —Kamaka Cricket Club £lO, Stillwater Football Club £lO, poor and needy of the district £lO/13/9. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Secretary commented on a letter in the Greymouth “Star,” connecting the club with the weekly dances held at Stillwater, and he explained that there was no connection whatever, as the dances were a purely private enterprise.
