[our own correspondent.] KUMARA, November 9. „ After an illness of about eight months’, Mr. Albert Clausen, of the Christchurch Road, died at the Westland,. on Sunday morning. ■Deceased, who was in the employ of the Public Work? Department was born at Woodstock and was 45 years of age. He is survived by a widow and seven children (three boys and four girls). There are three brothers, residing in Christchurch, Wellington, arid Australia, respectively. The funeral took place .to-day at the Hokitika Cemetery. Rev. W. Knights officiated at the graveside. Old residents of the district will regret to learn of the death at Cheltenham, Erigland, on Septembei- 15, -of Sister Moody Bell. Deceased, who was a missionary in' charge of the Wesleyan Church, Kumara, left the Coast for about 19, years ago.
