SUICIDE OF HITLER’S NIECE

LOVE AFFAIR WITH JEW. BERLIN, September 20. Herr Hitler’s niece, Fraulein Raubal, has committed suicide by shooting herself. It is believed that she took her life because her uncle banned her love affair with a Jew. The Hitlerite party is strong anti-Semitic. The girl, who was 23, was a music student. During a visit to Vienna she became acquainted with a Jewish singer, to whom she became strongly attached. But Herr Hitler told her that she must not see her lover. Fraulein Raubal was a daughter of Hitler’s step-sister, and both she and her mother lived with him. He was making a political tour through Germany when he was recalled by this family tragedy.
