SYDNEY WOOL SALES SYDNEY, November 9. The Sydney wool sales resumed today with very good competition in all sections. Values showed an improvement of five per cent, on late Sydney rates for fleece wool and seven and ahalf per cent, on skirtings and crossbreds. Greasy merino made 20J pence, which is the record for the season. There were 11,788 bales offered, and 11,311 bales were sold, also 2,277 were sold privately. The average price at last series was £ll/17/1 per bale, or nine point one pence per pound. HOMELAND MARKETS. LONDON, November 10. Gold 109/3. The stock exchange committee has repealed from November 16 the restriction on non-cash dealings. There is a further all round improvement in Australian stocks. A number of states hardened several points, advances ranging from 40/- to 80/-, and New South Wales 30/- to 80/-. Bradford very firm, with fair business. STOCKS AND SHARES. DUNEDIN, November 10.
