CHILLINGHAM CASTLE

CLOSED THROUGH TAXATION NEWCASTLE, September 16. Chillingham Castle, Northumberland, the residence of the Earl and Countess of Tankerville, is to be closed indefinitely, owing to heavy taxation; and there is a possibility that the famous herd of wild White cattle which have roamed the park for 700 years may disappear.
