In the singles. Vines defeated Hyde (!j?an Francisco), 6/1, 6/0. and later he defeated Neil-Brown 4/6, 6/1, 6/2. Lott defeated Stratford 8/6, 6/3. Wood beat Chandlern (San Francisco) 4/6, 6/3, 7/5.
