The following successes have been achieved by the pupils of Miss Dorothy Thwaites’s School of Dancing "at the recent Competitions: — let in Character Dance over 14 years; Ist and 2nd in Character Dance, 10 to 14 years; 2nd in Character Dance under 10 years; Ist in Operatic Dance over 14 years; Ist and 3rd in Operatic Dance,., 10 to 14 years; 2nd and 3rd in Operatic Dance,under 10 years; Ist and 3rd in Classic Dance over 14 years; Ist., 2nd and 3rd in Classic Dance 10 to 14 years; Ist and 2nd in Classic Dance under 10 years; Ist., 12nd and 3rd in Skipping Dance over 12 years; Ist in Operatic Duo under 12 years; Ist, 2nd and 3rd in Operatic Duo, ovei- 12 years; 2nd and 3rd in Character Duo under 12 years; Ist., 2nd and 3rd in Character Duo over 12 years; 2nd Character Story Duo under 12 years; Ist and 2nd in Dramatic Duo over 12 years; Ist in Sailor’s Hornpipe over 10 years; 2nd in Irish Jig;. 2nd in Sean Triubhais; Ist and' 3rd in Ballet; Winner of Silver Cup for the most promising .dancer (for the second year in succession).
