The following senior representative West Coast League team to represent the Coast against Canterbury*lat Wingham Park on Sunday has been announced by the selectors, Messrs C. Hall, W. Ryan, and L. Hunter: — Full-back —A. Harrison (Runanga). Three-quarters—J- Devonport (Marist), J. Dodds (Blackball), R- Gore (Runanga). Five-eighths—C. O’Leary (Marist), P. Hart (Runanga). Half—J. Masters (Runanga).
Front row—G. Newton (Runanga), J. Calder (Marist), D. Coulson (Marist). Second row—Glenn (Runanga), M. O’Brien (Marist). Breakway—N- Griffiths (Runanga), captain. Emergencies: Backs—C. O’Connor (Brunner), J. Matthews (Marist); forwards—Leitch (Blackball), Croft (Brunner). Mr C. Hall has been appointed to manage the team, which will meet at the Club Hotel at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Both the”Cobden Domain and Wingham Park were inspected by the League Grounds’ Committee, and it was decided to play the game at Wingham Park.
