POISON IN PARTRIDGE
NO CLUE TO TRAGEDY. [BY CABLE —PBESS ASSN.—COPYBIGHT.] LONDON, August 12. An inquest failed to throw any light on the death of Lieutenant Chaviss by poisoning. An open verdict was returned, atfer the widow had described the fatal meal in detail. The police admitted that they had failed to trace the source of the strychnine, or the sender of the “Hooray” telegram.
