TO-MORROW’S MATCHES With two of the leading teams in the senior competition, Star and Cobden, meeting at Victoria Park to-mor-row, prospects <of a large attendance and an interesting match are bright. Cobden are equal with Excelsior for the leadership on the senior ladder, while Star are one point behind. Both teams have been at serious practice i during this week, and a fast match is expected. United meet Excelsior* on the other ground at the Park, and this also should provide an interesting contest. Other matches in junior and third grade will be staged as curtain-raisers to the senior games. A re-arrangement of the grounds has been made for the United v. Cobden A., and Cobden B. v. Kumara junior matches, the former' teams now playing at Cobden at 3 p.m., and the last mentioned match at Technical grounds at 3 p.m. Star seniors to play Cobden: Henderson, Hughes, Earthorne, Reynolds, Beban, Fong Guy, Furness, Bell, McIntosh, Cochrane, Dunn, Deere, Buchanan, Petrie Fell. Assemble at Park Hotel at 2.30 p.m.

Star juniors to play Blaketown at 1.30 p.m.: Williams, O’Donnell, Dixon, Costello, Anthony, Buchanan, Croft, Saunders, Nash, McNabb, Seebeck, Cooper, McGinley, Shilcock, Minchin, Johnston, Robinson, Airey, Haigh, Denniston, Goodall.
