When flying over the Masterton Aedrodrome, an aeroplane belonging to the Wairarapa Aero Club suddenly went into a spin, and crashed with great force. The pilot, A. W. Buchanan, received a number of slight cuts on the face and body, but escaped serious injury. The machine was fairly extensively damaged.
