WAIUTA NOTES
[OUE OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Messrs Allan Grey and E. Harlem (Seddonville) were visitors to WaiiUa last week. . Mr and Mrs R. A. Stewart were visitors to Greymouth during the week-end. Mr W. W. Brett was a visitor to Reefton on Sunday. Waiuta “A” League football team ■played Ngahere on the local ground On Sunday last. The game was not fast, but was interesting and even, and was won by Ngahere by S points to 3. For the winners J. Donaldson and A. Ross scored tries, J. Donaldson converting one. McCarthy scored for Waiuta.
The Waiuta Rugby team were unable to fulfill their fixture against Ikamatua owing to a number of players being on the sick list.
