ROBBER SHOT DEAD
EX-SOLDIER DEFENDS PROPERTY ' [by CABLE —PBESS ASSN.—COPYBIGHT.] SYDNEY, July 7. Three men attempted to rob a motor garage at Blaxland, early this morning. Norman Price, aged' 41, a returned soldier, the owner of the garage, challenged the trio, who fir.ed a revolver, wounding him in the left arm. Price then rushed for a gun. He saw the three men running . away, and he fired both barrels at them, and shot one man dead. His two companions escaped.
