KING OF SIAM
OPERATION ON EYE. I [by CABLE—PRESS ASSN. COPYRIGHT.] NEW YORK, May 11. A successful operation was performed in removing a cataract from the left eye of the King of Siam. The four doctors who operated stated that they had experienced no untoward development, and they expect that the monarch will recover his sight. The King, whose first remark was, “I see the light!” is remaining here for a month to rest.
