CANADA & NEW ZEALAND
TRADE-TREATY NEGOTIATIONS [BY CABLE —PBESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] OTTAWA, May 8. It is reported that a Canadian and New'Zealand trade agreement is in prospect. It is understood that New Zealand has made an overture to that end, and that the Government here is favourably disposed, and that it is advocating an extension of the Canadian’s Australian Treaty, when it is ratified, to New Zealand, instead of negotiating a separate pact.
