An official wireless stated that the King, accompanied by the Queen, was again * out in the castle grounds, . Windsor, yesterday in bright sunshine. Before lunch they took a walk in the course of which they met Princess Elizabeth out on her Shetland pony. The King continues to make good progress. The Prince of Wales today received 'Mr. Henderson, and Mr. Thomas at York House, and discussed his tour in South America. He is expected to return to Windsor to spend the week-end with their Majesties. Mr. R. Hall, left to-day on a visit to Auckland. Mr. R. J. Inglis, of the Government Tourist Department, left to-day on transfer to Wellington. Sister Cullen of the’ Grey River Hospital staff, left to-day on holiday to Rotorua. The Bishop of Christchurch, and Mrs West-Watson, left Greymouth today .for Kumara. They will return to > Christchurch on Monday. ■» The death is announced from Suva of Lady Hddstrom, wife of Sir John Hedstrom, Member of the Legislative Council. Mr. H. Anderson, of the firm of Duncan McLean, Ltd., will leave on Monday for Westport* on transfer to , the firm’s branch there. Dr. I. C. Macintyre, Director of the Cashmere Sanatorium, will make his periodical visit to the West Coast next week, and will be In Greymouth on Wednesday. Mr. T. S. Brebner is to retire at the end of this month from the position of State mine shipping clerk at Greymouth, after 27 years’ service with the Department. He will be succeeded; by Mr. W. E. Newton, who for some years has been in charge of the Mines Department office at Reefton. Guests at Revington’s include: —Mr L. M. Faircloth (Invercargill), Mr W. H. Holdsworth, Mr W. B. Watkins, Mr A. E. Stock, Mr J. H. Robinson (Christchurch), Miss E. J. Graham (Hari Hari), Miss Morgan, Mr E. Owles (Westport). Miss Lilian Boddy, whose marriage to Mr. Frederick Sadler of Christ; church, and formerly of the Greymouth Railways Department, will take place this month, was tendered a gift evening by friends, at the United Pavilion last evening. Miss Boddy was the recipient of many useful gifts, and an enjoyable night of dapcing was attended by over ninety of her friends. -At yesterday’s meeting of the District Committee of the Greymouth jockey Club, members referred to the loss sustained by sport generally, in the death of Mr. J. D. Wingham, whto had been a member of the Greymouth Jockey Club for fourteen years. It was resolved that a letter of sympathy be forwarded to the widow and relatives of the late Mr. Wingham.
