LAW SOCIETY’S GIFT. AUCKLAND, April 26. ' The Auckland Law Society has forwarded a cheque for £lOOO to the Hawke’s Bay Law Society in a practical demonstration of sympathy with the members of the profession in Hawke’s Bay who suffered through the earthquake. Lord Bledisloe sent a letter of thanks to “The Tinies,” for its donation, and also for stimulating the earthquake fund by acknowledging donations.
