LAW SOCIETY’S GIFT. AUCKLAND, April 26. ' The Auckland Law Society has forwarded a cheque for £lOOO to the Hawke’s Bay Law Society in a practical demonstration of sympathy with the members of the profession in Hawke’s Bay who suffered through the earthquake. No conditions are attached to the gift. THANKS TO “THE TIMES.” LONDON, April 26. Lord Bledisloe sent a letter of thanks to “The Tinies,” for its donation, and also for stimulating the earthquake fund by acknowledging donations.
