When M. Tardieu, the new Minister of Agriculture, .motored to the Toulouse Agricultural Show, groups of Socialists booed him, after which they forced the police cordon to follow him., - The Socialists, at a subsequent banquet, howled in the street, in the hope of interrupting M. Tardieu’s speech. In retaliation for a police attempt at dispersal, they used sticks, stones, and chairs, snatched from cafes. Several of the demonstrators . were injured. ,
