A woman was admitted to hospital at Rydultau in Polish Upper Silesia It. is alleged that a. chemist, suspicious of her demand for arsenic, supplied her with a harmless powder, and warned her husband. The latter watched her mix it. for the eveningmeal, 'which he consumed, gracefully expiring.
As soon as his eyes were closed, the wife summoned her lover, both celebrating his “death.’" On their proposal to tie a. rope round his neck, to simulate suicide, the husband intervened, thoroughly beat and flung out the terrified rival, and severely attacked his wife.
