NEW YORK, February 14. The Lawn Tennis Association with only two or three, dissenting voices, adopted a motion favouring an open tennis tournament, but referred the matter to the executive committee, with power to act.
The Association recorded its disapproval of the practice of member clubs in allowing prominent players unlimited expense accounts while competing at the clubs’ tournaments.
