Many tests have been made with the new transmitter, and have proved most satisfactory, letters from all parts of the Dominion and Australia have been received congratulating the Society on the clearness and volume of the transmitter. The transmitter is a wireless telephone plant and R 6 in volume, and operates on tho 80 metre band (short wave) and its license call sign is ■ Z.L.3.C.W. and was built locally by the Society’s secretary, Mr M. E. Spiers. * '
