U.S.A. BANKS

MORE FAILURES REPORTED. [BY CABLE —PBESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] NEW YORK, November 22. The epidemic of many closings has extended into nine of the Central and Southern States, with business suspended, or ended outright in a total of 119 banking institutions. Predictions have been made that many of the banks would re-open soon, but, apparently, the difficulties of a good number of them will not prove an easy matter to settle immediately. The States hit by closures are Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Indiana, Illinois, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Minnesota.
