RACE BALL
AN ATTRACTIVE GATHERING. Shading from lemon and orange to flame the decorations were very gay for the Greymouth Trotting Club’s annual race ball last evening. Ferns, and flowers further adorned the Clubs| dance hall, while the lounges had massed tree ferns and bowls of lilies, all of which gained attraction from the shaded lights. In the supper room, white and yellow broom was everywhere, with tulip-filled. .vases on thej tables. Steel’s orchestra provided the music, and an attractive supper was served, the members of responsible ladies’ committee being: Mesdames F. M. Dennehy, L. Hogg, F. A. Kitchingham, W. Scott, H. D.
