It was estimated that the cost would be £2O. An offer was made from the Beautifying Society to provide this amount, which was accepted with thanks. The Hokitika Swimming Club aro engaged boring near the bath for a supply of water. The tide is interfering with the old bore. Last night, how’ever, an application for a supply of water from the Borough mains was granted by the Council.
