WHEAT AND TARIFFS. [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] OTTAWA, August 12. A method of financing the 1930 wheat crop is understood to have been arranged at a conference between the Dominion and the Prairie Provinces’ Premiers and prominent bankers. Last year's carry-over of wheat is not involved.
A message from London (Ontario) states that the Prime Minister, Mr Bennett, announced on Monday that the Tariff Advisory Board had beer, abolished, and that it would be re placed by a new body constituted un der an Act of Parliament.
