In the Hampshire tennis championship finals, Andrews (New Zealand) beat Wheatley 7/5, 6/2. In the doubles, Andrews and Eames beat. Wheatley and Lyle 8/6, 6/4. In the mixed double's, Andrews and Mrs Pittman beat Eames and Miss Ridley 3/6, 7/5, 6/3. BETTY NUTHALL NEW YORK, August 11. Betty Nuthall withdrew from the Eastern grass court, singles on Monday. stating that she felt a week’s practice at Forest Hills would fit her better for next week’s national championships.
