The conclusion of the New Zealand Waterloo Cup coursing meeting, at Whenuakura to-day, saw much excellent work, in which there was little between the dogs. In the semi-finals and finals an all-round high standard prevailed. Results: — Cup, fourth round: —Cashbox beat Again Terminus;. Dusky Gem beat Ace of Spades; Beau Geste beat Rin Tin Tin; Diamond Blot a bye; Semifinal: Cashbox beat Dusky Gem; Beau Geste beat Diamond Blot. Final: — Beau Geste (J. Crowley, Hamilton) beat Cashbox (F. Shield, Whemrnkura).
Waterloo Purse, third round: — Barnaby Rudge beat The Shrew; The Crow beat Lady Commoner; Chewton a bye. Senii-finals:— The Crow beat Barnaby Rudge; Master Rin Awa beat Chewton. Final: The Crow beat Master Rin Awa.
Waterloo Plate, second round: — May Day beat Crum; Rory More beat Glimpse; Simple Simon beat My Jewel; Carleta a bye. Third round: May Day beat Rory More; Simple Simon beat Carleta. Final: May Day beat Simple Simon.
