RAILWAY MISHAP. SYDNEY, July 23.
A train passenger on the Southern Mail fell on the permanent way, near Mittagong, last night. He received abrasions. His name is stated to be Samuel H. Bridgeford, aged 42 years, a journalist from New Zealand.
X-RAY MYSTERY. SYDNEY. July 23
Medical men are puzzled by the announcement that, although three X-Ra.v photographs had shown positive signs of cancer in a woman patient, the surgeon who performed the operation declared that there proved to be not the slightest sign of cancer in the patient. The patient unfortunately died while under the operation.
