REEFTON, June 19.

Tlie funeral of the late Percival Barron took place at Reefton yesterday, when there was a large attendance of relatives and friends, and members of the Inangahua Miners’ Union. The services at the graveside and St. Stephen’s Church, were rendered by Rev. H. O. Brickland. The committee of the Reefton Poultry Club met on Tuesday evening. The allocation of prizes in the various classes were considered. They number about 30 and were allotted to the classes where it was considered there would be the keenest competi tion. The accident to H. Lewis mentioned in yesterday’s issue occurred at Burke’s Creek Collieries, not Perfection Valley.
