A meeting of the Inangahua Sub--I’irion was held last evening. Mr T. Hepburn presided over the following: Messrs G. Bird, W. Barry. T. Dellaca, W. Hunt, R. Hill. T. Irvine, G. OsI orne, Mc-Manaway, T. Lawry. A. Bradley, V. Comport and Whitehead, and the secretary (Mr Scott). The Westland Sub-Union wrote asking this Sub-Union’s support regarding train arrangements for the second test at Christchurch. was resolved to co-operate, also to write to the District Traffic Manager, Chris - church, asking to have special train to arrive at 7 a.m. on July 5. The Westland Sub-Union wrote regarding the Dittman Shield match, fixing the date for June 28, subject to the West Coast Rugby Union’s ap proval. It was resolved to accept June 28, and the selectors were asked to select the team at once.
Referees’ reports were received. A player ordered off last Sunday was placed on the caution list.
Resolved to rescind resolution regarding Stallard Cup being played three rounds and that two rounds be played.
Ikamatua juniors were declared winners by default - from Rivals.
There was a misunderstanding about the place where the match was to be played in the Waratah-Rival match, so it was resolved to replay tho game.
Fixtures for Sunday: — Waiuta v. Ikamatua. at Ikamatua 2.45, Air Cutbush referee; Landing v. Reelton at Reefton 3 p.m., Mr McManuway referee; Cronadun a bye. Juniors: Ikamatua v. Landing at, Junction, 2.45, Mr Delaney referee, Rivals v. Waratahs at Reefton, 3 p.m., Mr Wylie referee.
