PROGRESS OF GREYMOUTH. During the past few years the progress of Greymouth has been, commented on, particularly by ex-residents who have revisited the town. In comparison with other towns of similar population, many are of the opinion that we have not advanced as much as we should, due to the fact that we have not learnt- to cultivate that “proud of your own town” spirit, which prevails in many other places. However, what progress we have made is good and substantial, and an industry that we must be proud of is the brewing of Westland Ale, which has no equal on the market for purity and wholesomeness.— Advt.
