WOMAN EMULATES CHICHESTER. , ‘ i (By Cable—Press Aasn.—Copyrtgnt.) LONDON, March 9. Miss Johnson, the air woman, is at present endeavouring to find a British aircraft firm to sponsor a flight by her to Australia. She already has received offers from American and German firms, but hopes for aid from her own people in order to make a start. If successful she may return by air. Miss Johnson plans to follow a course different from Hinkler’s and Chichester’s.
PARKERSO.N DELAYED.

Parkerson, who is flying to New Zealand, was delayed in starting owing to bad weather. He hopes to leave Lympne on March 12.
MACHINE LOSES PROPELLER.
ADELAIDE, March 11.
When the propeller dropped off his machine at an altitude of 3000 feet, Pilot Denny effected a safe landing, after a six miles’ glide. Denny headed for a clear paddock a few miles away. The ’plane hit a fence, slightly damaged the undercarriage, and then made a perfect landing. •••■ ' ?■
A private ’plane picked up the two passengers. *
