(To the Editor.) Sir. —It seems that the President of the Inangahua Miners’ Union has stood o nsomeone’s toes, and he runs to the “Star” office for pain balm. I have known the President for over twenty years, and during that period he has always fought the workers’ battles or done' his best, and no man can do more. If he was out of employment (which has often been the case) he did not condemn the union officials, but got a job off his own bat. IF “Wage Earner” with all his brains vyould come forward and assist the leaders instead of throw ying mud, probably we would' have a better organisation in Inangahua.— I am, etc., ANOTHER
