The Rotorua races, postponed from Saturday on account of wet weather, opened to-day in glorious weather with a large attendance. Results are as follow: — POHUTU HIGH WEIGHT HANDICAP, one mile:- — (3) Always 1 (6) Page Boy 2 (5) Mashoor 2 Scr.: Wako King. Half a. length both ways. Time 1.45. WAIMANGU STAKES, six furlongs: — (3) Rose Willonyx 1 ( L) Little Toy 2 (5) Rangikalia 3 Scr.: Hinauta, Loving Cup, Stonehenge, Kirihanga. Won by three lengths; half a length. Time 1.17 1-5. MOKOIA HANDICAP, seven furlongs and about 80yds :— (1) Maori Boy 1 (2) Abbess ... ••• 2 (4) Glenstar 3 Scratched: Hakanoa, Tilree, Good Boy, Mosaic, Macroon. A length each way. Time 1.31 1-5.
