THIRD TEST

AUCKLAND’S UNTIMELY RAIN. (Per Preus Association.) AUCKLAND, February 14. Although the wicket was covered, a certain amount of rain is bound to trickle through the protection, and the wicket, if a start is possible to-morrow, is sure to be damp ou the surface. 1 lit' conditions to-night, however, not encourage the hopes of any play at all to-morrow, the city being enveloped m a heavy fog, with light drizzling lam. NO PLAY TO-DAY. AUCKLAND, February 15.
