GRAND LODGE*ENSTALLATION. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, November 27. The installation of Bro. J. J. Clark of Dunedin in the Chair of Grand'Master took place at to-night’s session of the Masonic Grand Lodge. Dr. W. E. Redman of Blenheim was invested as Deputy Grand. Master, and the Provincial Grand Masters of last year were reappointed, except that Bro. J. Morling of Napier took the place of the late Bro. J. W. Ritchie for Hawke’s Bay. Other senior officers appointed and invested were: Senior Grand Warden, C. E. Dutton, Auckland ; Junior Grand Warden, G. F. Allen, Christchurch; Grand Lecturers, Rev. A. M. Niblock (Auckland), Bro. O. C.- Mazengarb (Wellington), Assistant Provincial Grand Masters, S. S. Allen (Samoa)-, Rev. E. L. Harvie (Auckland), H. H. Edwards (Nelson and Marlborough), and F. Symes (Ruapehu). \
SIR CHARLES FERGUSSON. - AUCKLAND, November 27. The retirement of Sir Charles Fergusson from the office of Grand Master of the New Zealand Freemasons was signalised by the presentation to him of a specially-designed memento of New Zealand, in the form of an illuminated aiddress in a casket characteristic of the Dominion, also a pastGrand Master’s jewel casket, which took the shape of a slab of greenstone, mounted from a structure of New Zealand woods, above which is the ornamental structure of Dominion woods inlaid with greenstone and gold. The presentation was made by retiring Pro-Grand Master E. W. G. H. Watts, His Excellency, in his reply, said the four years for which he had held office had been very happy years, on which fie would always look back with grateful memory.
