MEETINGS

COMPETITIONS SOCIETY. The annual meeting of the West Coast Competitions Society was held last evening. Present: Messrs. H. F. Doogan (President), A. Naylor (St. Paul’s), W. B. Gilbert, M. Keating (St. Columba), J. B. Kent, E. Hay, W. D. Murray (United), A. L. McKay and R. T. Bush (Trinity). An apology for absence was received from Mr. A. A. Adams. The annual report and balance-sheet were received and adopted. The election -of officers for the ensuing year resulted: — President: Mr. H. F. Doogan. Vice-President: Mr. A. A. Adams. Treasurer: Mr. M. Keating. Secretary: Mr. R. T. Bush. Auditor: Mr. A. Naylor. Finance Committee: Messrs. Naylor, Keating and A. L. McKay. Mark Stewards: Messrs. Naylor and M. B. Kent. Programme Committee: Messrs. Adams, Keating and Bush. Timekeeper: Mr. W. B. Gilbert. It was resolved to send a letter of sympathy to Mr. A. A. Adams in. his recent accident.
